Lundi means 'puffin' in Icelandic, 'Monday' in French and many other things to other people.
To us, it's the initial collection of the small ecosystem we are building out. They're your friendly, grumpy, ugly, pretty, hard-working bird friends.
These puffins will always reign supreme for what we call utility within the project. Originals collect their owner 75 poof weekly but there is a danger they constantly face (and is the reason why they are called originals)...
The first Lundi ever minted.
Lundi started as a family of 2250 but have slowly died off due to the burn. People love to throw them into fiery pits and we only have limited knowledge of their reasoning for doing so.
Burning somehow allows your new bird to collect you more poof weekly. This may be one of the reasons why we see people completely fine with their birds being sacrificed, but we are not here to speculate much. In the past, people found a way to burn 5, even 10 Lundi at once...
Luckily, in the present, the berb scientists have been able to devise a way to limit this to only two sacrifices at once, lessening the horror.
